Bermuda Vacations - What Is It?

Bermuda has a lot of interesting tourist attractions especially its beautiful beaches. Travelers who are from US and Canada take Bermuda vacations because Bermuda is a convenient vacation destination.

Bermuda island is located in the Atlantic Ocean about 700 miles off North Carolina’s coast and it is not considered a part of Caribbean because it’s close to North America. Most people spend their holiday on the beach in Bermuda. Of course, There is a lot of things that you can enjoy in Bermuda besides beach and sun.

Through Bermuda vacations, you can also visit some buildings and streets there. You can visit quaint cobblestone streets, picturesque King’s Square, some historic buildings and especially St. George which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Bermuda. In the evening, you can watch Bermuda’s Gombey dancers with their performance and cultural shows in King’s Square. You can also taste local food there and for those who are interested in local crafts and arts, you will find them at diverse stalls in the square.

Bermuda has some beautiful beaches, the most famous beach is Horseshoe Bay Beach. For scuba divers, shipwrecks is the right choice to see variety of corals, fish and other marine flora and fauna. Those who seek privacy will still have fun in Somerset Long Bay and Hog Bay Beach. Snorkeler’s favorite are Warwick Long Bay Beach and Elbow Beach.

Don’t miss another interesting place in Dockyard where you can swim and play with dolphins and feeding them in Dolphin Quest. In Dockyard, you can visit maritime museum and other attractions. There is also Bermuda Botanical Gardens where visitors can see varieties of orchids, palmettos and cactii.
